M7 Real Estate extends lease on 25,000 sq m of logistics space near Frankfurt for M7 EREIP III

Frankfurt, 16 February 2017 − M7 Real Estate (M7), the pan-European investor and asset manager which specialises in the regional, multi-let real estate market, has agreed a long-term extension of a lease on around 25,000 sq m of storage and logistics space in Rodgau, near Frankfurt, with the toom DIY chain. The company will be the sole tenant of the property at Benzstrasse 10.

Toom operates a portfolio of around 350 stores, employing 14,400 and generating a gross turnover of around 2.7 bn Euro. The company is part of the REWE Group.

The property belongs to the M7 European Real Estate Investment Partners III (M7 EREIP III) fund portfolio.

M7 EREIP III pursues a value-add strategy, concentrating on retail, office and multi-tenant properties in the industrial segment that produce steady incomes but also have asset management potential. The target markets are Germany and the Netherlands.

The fund now has a portfolio of 65 properties in Germany and the Netherlands, with a total floor area of around 491,000 sq m.
