M7 forms light industrial joint venture with Blackstone through the €112.5 million sale of French MStar portfolio

London, 18 January 2017 – As reported in Estates Gazette and Property Week; M7 Real Estate, the pan-European real estate investor and asset manager, has entered into a joint venture with Blackstone following the sale of a French light industrial and urban logistics portfolio from its MStar Europe joint venture with Starwood Capital.

The portfolio of 26 light industrial assets located mostly around Paris, was sold for €112.5 million. M7 will retain its holding in the portfolio and will continue to asset manage the portfolio.

M7 and Blackstone will consider extending the joint venture which could establish a new Pan-European platform through further acquisitions across Europe. This could include further acquisitions of M7 vehicles.
