VBRi Achieves Near Full Occupancy at Power Park, Goldthorpe

8th March 2014 – M7 Real Estate, acting as Asset Manager on behalf of VBRi, has secured three new tenants totalling 230,000 sq ft at Power Park on the Goldthorpe Industrial Estate in Barnsley.

Units 4 and 5, which consist of 130,000 sq ft of warehousing and industrial space, have been let to Deafinitions, a charity that supports, trains and employs deaf people in the community.

Unit 2, a 31,000 sq ft detached warehouse unit, has been let to Portwest Clothing, which operates out of its headquarters building in Goldthorpe and required additional storage space close by.

Kostal UK, which specialises in the development and manufacture of advanced electronic and electromechanical products for the automotive industry, has expanded its operations on the estate by taking Unit 3 which is a 70,000 sq ft unit with an office building.

When VBRi acquired the site last year, the site had a vacancy ratio in excess of 70%.
