M7 partners with Street Child United

London, 21st November 2018 – M7 Real Estate (“M7”) is pleased to announce that it has become a Global Sponsor of the Street Child Cricket World Cup (“SCCWC”), run by Street Child United (“SCU”), the charity that harnesses the power of sport to protect, respect and support street-connected young people around the world.

SCU helps to give street children a voice by organising international sports events for street-connected young people ahead of the world’s biggest sporting competitions. By creating a global platform for street-connected young people to speak from, SCU aims to change the way they are seen and treated.

M7 will play an active role in supporting the very first SCCWC which will take place at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, one month ahead of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup in England and Wales. On the pitch, children from across the world will united to play in a cricket tournament, representing their countries and the millions of children still living on the street. Off the pitch, the young people will contribute to a model-UN Congress for street children’s rights.
