M7 Lists High Yield Bond on CISX

23rd October 2013 – M7 Real Estate, the specialist Industrial asset manager, has listed a bond on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX).

The high yielding bond is providing co-investment capability to M7 as it grows its assets under management and its platform across Europe. M7 has recently announced office openings in Glasgow, Amsterdam and Copenhagen with further platform expansion planned over the coming months.

The first closing of the bond in early October raised approximately £3 million. There will be subsequent closings over the coming months, as M7 requires capital to co-invest in its new joint ventures. The bond is expected to be fully subscribed at £12 million by the end of the year.

Richard Croft, M7’s chief executive said “This is an innovative and efficient way for M7 to raise capital for co-investment purposes. We are delighted to have secured the listing and I believe it is a testament to the strength of the M7 business that we have been able to raise capital this way”.

M7 today has also announced the formation of a JV with HIG Capital to invest into the Dutch multi let industrial market, which is the first co-investment made by M7 with the capital raised. The new JV has notarised on its first 12 assets with a capital value of €36 million, with further transactions under offer.

M7’s team on the listing was led by General Counsel Tom Pearman. Reed Smith and Carey Olsen were M7’s advisors on the issuance.
