M7 leases 2,218 SQ M of office space with Carrier for 10 years

M7 Real Estate (“M7”), the pan-European investor and asset manager specialising in multi-tenanted properties, announces that it has let 2,218 sq m of office space, at Waalhaven Oostzijde 85 in Rotterdam, to Carrier Transicold, part of Carrier Global Corporation, a world leader in advanced solutions for distributing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Carrier Transicold has agreed to a 10-year lease, with a break after 5 years. M7 acquired the property in 2019. This deal will increase the occupancy rate of the property from 20% to 60%. M7 bought the property knowing that the previous tenant would be leaving due to building a new headquarter office property.

The asset is well-located in the Waalhaven area of Rotterdam’s port. This is one of the world’s largest ports and is a key driver for the city’s economy and strategic importance.
