M7 continues to expand Portuguese business and appoints Senior Asset Manager

16th December 2015 – M7 Real Estate Ltd “M7”, announces that it has expanded its recently opened business in Lisbon through the appointment of Eduardo Craveiro Lopes as Senior Asset Manager for Portugal.

Reporting to Leonardo Peres, Managing Director for Portugal, Eduardo’s core role comprises asset management for MPort, a €250 million joint venture set up by M7 in October to invest in high yielding Portuguese real estate. He will also have responsibility for actively sourcing further investment opportunities and their subsequent integration into the MPort portfolio.

Immediately prior to joining M7, Eduardo worked as a Senior Asset Manager at Construmed, a Portuguese residential asset management company which manages over 700 properties. Eduardo brings more than 13 years of multi-sector experience within the Portuguese real estate market, gained with companies and projects such as Tagus Park, Lagoas Park at Teixeira Duarte Imobiliária, and Jones Lang LaSalle.

M7 opened its Lisbon office, the eighth in its pan-European platform in October 2015. M7 formed the MPort joint venture with a well-capitalized U.S. investment manager to acquire up to €250 million of high yielding assets in Portugal. MPort recently agreed to acquire its first two assets in Portugal and has another €60 million of assets under offer.
