Andrew Jenkins Joins M7 as CFO and COO

7th July 2009 – M7 is delighted to announce that Andrew Jenkins has joined M7 as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining M7 Real Estate LLP in July 2009, Andrew worked as COO and CFO at Jones Lang LaSalle for over 20 years. He also recently created an online music tuition business, icanplayit Ltd.

During his 20 year career with Jones Lang LaSalle, Andrew carried out a number of roles. Initially as European Finance Director (and Member of the European Board), he defined and implemented financial strategy in the UK and Europe. Andrew also helped in structuring the then Jones Lang Wootton’s US business.

Following this, he became European COO and as such managed and directed all business support functions across the region (Finance, Tax, Treasury, IT, HR, Legal and Risk Management and FM). He managed, coordinated and delivered the annual business planning process and worked with the CEO in strategy formulation and implementation.

His final role at Jones Lang LaSalle was as Deputy MD and COO, Southern Europe (Paris based). In this position, he was responsible for the day to day management of the French business with an overseeing role in Spain, Portugal and Italy. He was chairman of the country Management Committees and responsible for business planning and reporting.

Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, Andrew worked with Deloitte Haskins & Sells for seven years. He qualified in their Bristol office and then spent 18 months in Paris.

Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is fluent in French.
